It seems like there have a number of updates in this past week or so. It's fairly annoying to have to log into the site, download the app, and install the app multiple times a week.

It would be very helpful to have a built-in updater that does most of that work instead of the user.

An improved updating experience has been released as part of 2.0.250, available for download from the Downloads page on the VCam Dashboard. This version will now automatically download and install updates on both Windows and Mac.

I apologise if the recent updates felt like spam. We are actively revamping the update system in two ways: firstly we'll move to a system that informs and performs a silent update on app close, and secondly we'll be looking to move the bulk of the logic to the internet. This will allow us to push small and menial changes through without any need for any app update.

Jon Young I appreciate the work going into the product. It's really great. I'm exciting for these upcoming updates. Will there be a way for me to check for an update within the app should I want to proactively update or is there a way to see that an update will be installed up app closure?
