On VCam 2.0.188 on macOS Sonoma 14.5 (Apple Silicon) I am seeing constant high background CPU usage, particularly from process com.apple.cmio.registerassistantservice.

This CPU usage goes away when I quit the VCam.ai app

I can confirm it is now much improved! Also, the background-task-prevents-computer-sleep bug is also fixed. Thank you for this. VCam is now working very well for me.

Hello, we released VCam 2.0.202 two weeks ago that should minimize overall CPU usage of the underlying services. Please give it a try! https://dashboard.vcam.ai/downloads
